Traditional Rawhide Braiders swept all categories (1st and 2nd) of Rawhide braiding at the 2006 5th World Leather debut in Sheridan, Wyoming. the Sheridan contest is considered the most prestigious of all makers contest. Sheridan is also the home of the world famous "DON KING WESTERN MUSEUM" which has a permanent display of many braided items from 3 Traditional Rawhide Braiders.
Don King purchasing a Traditional Rawhide Braiders rawhide bosal to display in his museum. This bosal has 60 plait cheeks and a 84 plait noseband. It is one of several pieces purchased for the Don King museum at the 2006 World Leather Debut in Sheridan, Wyoming. Don King on the right, and standing next to him is award winning saddle maker from Lipan Texas, Carl Suvaco. Carl won runner up in the saddle making contest at the 2006 Sheridan show.
Traditional Rawhide Braiders rawhide tack is on permanent display at the Don King Western Museum in Sheridan Wyoming. For many years, the museum has been a loyal customer of Traditional Rawhide Braiders.s
